A student who has met the minimum Program Term GPA requirement(s) but not met the minimum Program Cumulative GPA requirement(s) will receive a Graduation Warning. Once the minimum Program Cumulative GPA requirement(s) have been met the student will return to Good Standing.

Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Certificate & Graduate Certificates
If you are in a certificate, diploma, advanced diploma or graduate certificate program, you must have a minimum program cumulative GPA of 2.0 to graduate.

Degrees
If you are in a degree program, you must have the following minimum program cumulative GPAs in order to graduate:

  • Program Core Cumulative and Term GPA: 2.5
  • Program Non-Core/Breadth Cumulative and Term GPA: 2.0
  • Program Cumulative and Term GPA: 2.4

Support for students on with a Graduation Warning

A student with a Graduation Warning can discuss possible supports, services and/or options with a Student Advisor in Student Advisement by day five of the term. Any student who is unsure of where to start may connect with Student Advisement.
