05/07/18: Changes to Credit Transfer Policy (formerly Advanced Standing Policy)

Sheridan's Senate has approved a number of changes to the former Advanced Standing Policy, among them, a new name - Credit Transfer Policy.

Aside from the new name, other notable changes to the policy include:

  • The expansion of multiple equivalencies to allow for the maximum transfer of credits; and
  • The inclusion of a Letters of Permission process, whereby eligible students can take courses at another institution (while currently enrolled at Sheridan) and apply the earned credits to a Sheridan credential.
