Ancillary Fees

Ancillary fees are charged in addition to tuition and program fees. They support campus and student services provided at Sheridan.

Ancillary fees are mandatory — students are not able to opt-out of these fees.

College-Wide Technology Fee This fee supports IT as it securely delivers software, communications, hardware and technical service expertise to students and classrooms. $125.00 $8.33
Athletic Activities Fee This fee supports recreational and intercampus sports leagues, fitness classes, a well-equipped weight/cardio room and drop-in use of the campus gymnasium. The fee also supports the Sheridan Bruins Varsity teams, including open access to try-outs and fan attendance. $70.00 $4.67
Athletic Building Capital Fee This fee supports the construction, maintenance and updating of Athletics and Recreation facilities and spaces at all three campuses. It also supports equipment, furniture and capital needs for Athletics and Recreation facilities and spaces at all three campuses. $35.00 $2.34
Health Centre Fee The Sheridan Student Health Centre (clinic at each campus) gives students access to medical care through nurses and physicians, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Registered nurses provide non-urgent and urgent health care, provide health and wellness teaching, dispense minor medications and make referrals to community agencies on a walk-in basis and under medical directives. A psychiatrist and chiropractor are also available. $55.00 $3.67
Career Centre Fee Sheridan's Career Centre supports students exploring and clarifying their career and educational goals and developing essential skills, and provides opportunities to gain experience through Sheridan's Co-Curricular Record. The Career Centre prepares students to transition to the world of work (job search, resume and interview critique), and hosts a job board, mentoring and events to connect students to future employers. Our 1:1 appointments, events, workshops and programs support student career success. $9.50 $0.63
Peer Mentoring Fee Sheridan’s Peer Mentor program supports a team of highly trained peers across all three campuses to support students academically, socially and personally. Peer Mentors support student well-being. They orient and connect students to essential on-campus services to ensure they're successful both inside and outside of the classroom, enriching the student experience. $21.00 $1.40
Tutoring and Academic Support Fee This fee funds the delivery of tutoring across all faculty programs, academic skills resources, virtual learning communities such as the Well Series and academic integrity services. It also helps to sponsor initiatives that enhance the student academic support experience. $54.00 $3.60
onecard Fee Your onecard is your official photo identification card for Sheridan and provides access to spaces on campus such as classrooms, libraries and recreation facilities. Funds loaded to your onecard can be used for a variety of services from printing to bookstore purchases, as well as toward food purchases at participating on- and off-campus locations. Alumni Fee Pay once and reap the benefits throughout your career. This one-time fee provides you with resources including access to the Sheridan Career Centre long after you graduate, as well as a variety of events and activities to help you build your professional network. Transcript Fee (first-year students only) Charged in the first semester of your program, the transcript fee enables you to receive an official transcript outlining your academic record at Sheridan as well as your credential upon completion of your program. Graduation Fee (first-year students only) Charged in the first semester of your program, the graduation fee supports the expenses associated with convocation, including but not limited to the graduate application process and all details associated with the ceremony (e.g., academic regalia rental, venue, convocation program).
