Select Your Block of Classes

  1. Log into myStudent Centre

  2. Click on the Manage Classes tile in your dashboard

  3. In the left-hand sidebar, select Enroll by My Requirements

    • View courses you have completed
    • See courses currently in progress
    • Identify outstanding course requirements

  4. To select your preferred block, navigate to the requirement associated with your current term. Note: It is suggested that you select your core or professional requirements before selecting an elective course.

  5. You will be directed to the Block Selection page.

  6. In the Option Name column, use the drop-down menu to preview the different class block options. The number of options available will appear to the left of the drop-down menu.

  7. To preview the selected block, click the View Schedule button

    To preview the schedule as a calendar, click the By Date button and select Calendar View By Class option selected

  8. Once you have found your preferred course block, select the Enroll button to proceed

  9. To proceed, click OK

  10. If registration is successful, a green checkmark will appear next to the course code and name. Review the enrollment action menu (if applicable) for details.

  11. To exit the page, click the Home icon at the top-right corner of the screen.

    Note: During the initial registration window, you will only be able to add, swap or drop your block of classes within your academic level. For more information, please see the Start of Term Information page.


To View Your Schedule

In the Manage Classes tile, click on the View My Classes/Schedule page and select the term

To preview the schedule as a calendar, click the By Date button and select Calendar View

Please note: It is sometimes necessary to make changes to schedules. Therefore, it is recommended that students check their schedule during the first week of classes to ensure they have the current version.


To Swap Your Schedule

  1. In the Manage Classes tile, select Swap Classes in the left-hand side menu

  2. Select the term for which you wish to swap your block

  3. You will be directed to the Block Selection page.

    3. Once you have found your preferred course block, select the Swap Schedule button to proceed

    4. To proceed, click OK

To Drop Your Courses

  1. In the Manage Classes tile, select Drop Classes in the left-hand side menu

  2. Select the term for which you wish to drop your block

  3. You will be directed to the Block Drop page.

  4. If you wish to drop the block you are enrolled in, click the Drop All Classes button

  5. To proceed, click OK

  6. All courses will be dropped.

  7. To exit the page, click the Home icon at the top-right corner of the screen.

Choose your Electives

Review your Academic Requirements to determine if you require an elective course for your current semester.

To do so, login to myStudent Centre and click the Enroll by My Requirements page in the Manage Classes tile.

Through Enroll by My Requirements, you can:

  • View courses you have completed
  • See courses currently in progress
  • Identify outstanding course requirements

  1. To determine if you require an elective course, navigate to the requirements for your current academic level.
  2. If the requirement is outstanding, an orange diamond will appear in the semester elective requirement box, along with text stating the requirement is Not Satisfied, and the progress percentage will be set to 0%.

  3. To enroll in an elective course, select the outstanding requirement. A list of all elective courses will be displayed.

    Note: Not all elective courses listed are offered in each term. It is recommended that you visit the General Education Electives or Degree Breadth Electives webpages for elective offerings for the present term.

  4. When you have determined which elective course you wish to take, select the option and review the class information. If you would like to proceed with registration, click the View Classes button.

  5. Select the term for which you are registering in the elective course.

  6. Select your preferred class section to proceed with registration.

    Note: Once cross-campus enrolment opens, more options may become available to you. However, it is recommended that you select an elective as soon as possible in case your preferred option is not available.

  7. Review your Class Preferences and click Accept to proceed

  8. To complete registration, click the Submit button

  9. If registration is successful, a banner will display at the top of the page informing you that the class was added to your schedule. There will also be a green checkmark next to the course code and name.

    Note: During the initial registration window, you will be unable to select courses from outside of your academic level. You will be able to do so during Open Enrollment. For more information, please see the Start of Term Information page.

Note: When using Block Selection, you may add or swap your block of courses. Please note that if you have already chosen an elective course and then swap your block again, your elective will be dropped to ensure your preferred block of classes remains conflict free. To avoid losing your elective, we recommend that you first select your preferred course block and then choose your elective.
