What you need to know before you attend your Convocation Ceremony

When: Arrive 1.5 hours before your Convocation Ceremony to ensure you have sufficient time to check in, receive your gown and assemble with your classmates.

If you are late, you will not fully participate in the ceremony and will not enter the Convocation Hall in procession with your class.

Where: Hall 5 at The International Centre, 6900 Airport Rd, Mississauga, ON L4V 1E8

Masks: Medical masks are required to be worn at all times while inside the International Centre except while crossing the stage.

Graduand Checklist:

Print your tickets from myStudent Centre and distribute to your guests. This is their admission to the ceremony.

Bring your Sheridan Student onecard or government issued photo ID to the Student Robing room.

Leave all personal belongings with your guests.

Go to the Robing Room to check-in, pick up your gown and meet your classmates.

Assemble in the Staging Room with your classmates.

Processional of graduands occurs 15 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Children are not permitted to sit with graduands. Children over the age of 3 must have their own guest ticket and must be supervised by another adult.

Convocation Hall will open for guests 30 minutes before the ceremony.

Convocation ceremonies will be broadcast live on www.sheridancollege.ca/convocation.

Be respectful of your classmates and remain in your seat for the duration of the ceremony. Celebrate together as alumni until the conclusion.

A video clip capturing your moment on stage will be emailed to you approximately one week after your Convocation Ceremony.
