How do I access my virtual ceremony?

The pre-recorded virtual ceremony will be available at 10:00am EST on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. A couple days prior to the ceremony, you will receive a link to your faculty’s ceremony, in addition to some additional resources for you and your loved ones to celebrate your achievement. You can also visit our Convocation webpage to access your ceremony link and access our digital celebration kit, with social media filters and GIFs to help you celebrate.

Following the ceremony, you can re-visit the site anytime or visit the Sheridan YouTube channel to watch the ceremony again.

Be sure to tag our social media accounts and use the hashtag #SheridanConvo for a chance to be featured on our social media channels during convocation.

How do I participate in the virtual ceremony?

You should have also received an email with instructions on how to upload a photo and personalized message that will be included in the virtual ceremony. Photo and message uploads must be submitted by June 20, 2021, at 11:59pm EST to be included in the recorded ceremony. Please note, official grad photos are not required for the photo and message upload and you are free to choose any meaningful photo of yourself as an individual.

How do I receive my credential? What is in the Convocation Box?

Sheridan’s convocation boxes have started to ship and will be sent out by our fulfillment vendor over the coming weeks. This box will include your credential (or congratulatory letter if your credential was already received), any academic achievements (silver medals, honour cords, etc.) and commemorative items including your faculty stole.

Please note that due to issues related to shipping timeframes and potential delays due to the pandemic, we have ensured that none of the items in the box are necessary for you to upload your photo and message, or required for the day of the ceremony.

These boxes will be shipped via UPS, and you will automatically receive a tracking number via your personal email account when the label is created. Please note that delivery of convocation boxes is by courier only and pickup at our campus is not available at this time.

Copies of your digital parchments will also be sent to your Sheridan email address on June 29, 2021, and you can upload these verified credentials to your LinkedIn profile and share them with your family and friends.
