Registering for your Ceremony

Students who have applied to graduate, have met the academic requirements for their program, and have been confirmed to graduate by the Office of the Registrar for the Fall 2022 or Winter 2023 terms will be invited to attend June Convocation. The invitation will be sent in early May to their Sheridan Email and will include registration details for their Convocation Ceremony.

Note: Students who have missed the Apply to Graduate deadline (April 21, 2023) should reach out to their Record Specialist. Students not awarded in our system by May 19, 2023 will not be eligible to participate in Convocation.

To register to attend Convocation, students log in using their Sheridan Username and Password to the MarchingOrder platform* provided in their invitation. Students will be able to confirm attendance to their Convocation Ceremony, request guest tickets, select gown sizes, and more.

*Note - Students may be directed to a Sheridan Single Sign-on page and will be prompted to enter the following to gain access:

  • Your-Sheridan-Username@shernet.sheridancollege.ca
  • Your Sheridan Password

The deadline to register for your Convocation Ceremony is Thursday, May 25, 2023.

Requesting Guest Tickets

All graduands are eligible for 2 guest tickets and can claim up to 2 additional tickets, for a total of 4 guest tickets. For certain ceremonies, if capacity permits, graduands may be able to select more than 4 tickets when registering.

The availability of extra tickets is limited to certain ceremonies based on Convocation Hall capacity and will be reflected on the ticket registration form.

How are tickets received?

Tickets will be distributed electronically. While registering for Convocation, graduands can send their tickets directly to their guests or send their tickets to their own email account. Digital tickets will be accepted at the venue, in addition to printed tickets.

Please be advised: Wi-Fi access is not available at the venue. Your guest may present a screenshot of their ticket.

When will the ticket be sent to the guest?

Tickets are sent out as soon as the graduand completes the registration process.
