Current students registered in the fall term declare their intent online in myStudent Centre to study in the winter term.


You’re encouraged to declare your intent to register by November 4th, 2021 to guarantee an enrollment appointment. This permits us to plan accurately for the winter term and set the best schedule for students.

I’m a domestic student, starting a new program OR returning to an existing one (but I did NOT attend in the Fall 2021 term)

  1. View your fee invoice.
  2. Pay your non-refundable $250 fee deposit by the date stated on your fee invoice/estimate to secure your enrollment appointment.
  3. Consider enrolling in the payment plan.
  • Non-OSAP students who have not opted into the Winter payment plan must pay all outstanding fees for the Winter 2022 term by Day 11 (January 21, 2022). For OSAP eligible students, the deadline is February 16, 2022.

What if I change my mind?

If you decide not to attend Sheridan in Winter 2022 after paying your non-refundable fee deposit, you must formally withdraw by January 21, 2022 to receive a full refund (excluding the deposit). Depending on your program, you may consider deferring your attendance and transferring your fees to the Fall term.

I’m a domestic student, returning (I attended in the Fall 2021 term)

  • Please declare your intent to register in myStudent Centre by November 4th, 2022 to secure an enrollment appointment.

      • Non-OSAP students who have not opted into the Winter payment plan must pay all outstanding fees for the Winter 2022 term by Day 11 (January 21, 2022). For OSAP eligible students, the deadline is February 16, 2022.

What happens if I miss the November 4th deadline?

We encourage you to declare your intent to register by November 4th (since it gives you a better chance of securing your preferred schedule).

 

However, if you miss the deadline, you can still declare your Intent to Register up until day 5 of classes (January 14, 2022). You will still be able to enroll in classes as well.

 

What if I change my mind?
If you decide not to attend Sheridan in Winter 2022 after declaring your Intent to Register, you must formally withdraw by January 21, 2022. Depending on your program, you may consider deferring your attendance and transferring your fees to the Spring term.

 

* If you're not scheduled to attend Sheridan during the Winter 2022 term (for example, it's your vacation term), you DON'T need to declare your intent to register in myStudent Centre.

  • If you are supposed to attend Sheridan but have decided to take a semester off, please select the "I will not attend" option in myStudent Centre.

I’m an international student, starting a new program at Sheridan

What if I change my mind?
The International Centre must be notified in writing of all withdrawals prior to the 10th day (January 21, 2022) of class. All fees are subject to a non-refundable registration charge. This charge varies by program. Withdrawal deadline dates can be found on the Academic Calendar. If a student withdraws after the withdrawal deadline, no refund will be issued and all outstanding fees must be paid.

 

International students who are refused their study permit or who do not meet the conditions of their offer will receive a full refund of fees paid minus a $200 administrative fee. For refused study permits, students must provide a proof of the refusal (copy of Immigration document) within the first 10 days of classes. The Health Insurance fee of $395 is non-refundable after the first day of class. All other refundable fees, except the late charge, will be refunded. Refunds will be paid by cheque or wire transfer to registered students only. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing a refund.

 

Students who pay for two terms in advance will receive a full refund of second semester fees providing the withdrawal is received prior to the fee payment deadline date of the subsequent term.

I’m an international student, returning to an existing program (but did NOT attend in the Fall 2021 term)

What if I change my mind?
If you decide to withdraw from your program or term, you will need to complete the Withdrawal Form in myStudent Centre. Withdrawal requests made by January 21, 2022 will receive a partial refund.

 

If a student withdraws after January 21, 2022, no refund will be issued, and all outstanding fees must be paid. Withdrawal deadline dates can be found on the Academic Calendar

How to declare your Intent to Register

 

To declare your intent to register:

  1. Log in to myStudent Centre
  2. Under the Academics section click the Intent to Register link
  3. Select "I will attend" or "I will not attend". Once you have made your selection, click "Confirm".
  4. You can revise your choice until day 5 of classes.
